Welcome to GVoice, Green Valley High School's literary publication! The general mission of GVoice is to promote the value and power of literature to the students of GVHS. GVoice provides a forum for students to express themselves in literary genres, and to publish their original work in a variety of media. GVoice will also allow for the interaction between writers and their readers in a critical and enlightening manner. GVoice contributors are nominated using a peer review or teacher evaluation process. GVoice is an evolving organization, existing solely in an internet format. Thus, you can choose to read new pieces from our GVoice Contributors, or select student works from throughout the school year. In the first series of publications of GVoice, the contributors were challenged to write about their feelings, aspirations, or life events in as few words as possible. The top eight selections are highlighted in the following posts. We also have a special word from GVHS Student Body President, Taylor Ashton. We know you will enjoy the continual publication of student works, and hope you will be enriched by the musings of fellow Gators. Sincerely, Jordan Orris and Sean Elezra Co-Founders and Co-Editors-In Chief, Class of 2012 Mr. Bennes, Advisor
